AlarMax Distributors Acquires 30+ Year Industry-Veteran Northern Sound & Light; a Supplier of Pro Audio, Lighting and Production Supplies

AlarMax Distributors, Inc., a national distributor of wholesale electronics, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Northern Sound & Light, a Pittsburgh based national supplier of sound, lighting and production equipment to the industry’s top-leading professionals for use in concert venues, schools, houses of worship and live production houses. NSL is a factory-authorized reseller for over sixty industry-leading manufacturers and has the ability to service customers nationwide.

Northern Sound & Light, also known as NSL, has been in business over 30 years, under the ownership and direction of Steve Raslevich. Northern is known for their deep industry roots, service awards, over a decade of live production service experience, and knowledge of the industry. NSL will maintain its own identity and business under the AlarMax financial umbrella.

AlarMax currently operates 25 distribution centers across the U.S. and plans to co-locate NSL locations within some existing AlarMax facilities, as well as coordinate its operations to provide optimal dealer service levels in new markets with stand-alone NSL storefronts.
