The Connecticut Security and Systems Integration Association announced the transition in association management and executive leadership to newly appointed Executive Director, Shannon Few. The previous Executive Director, Pat Shea Remes, will shift to part-time supporting role.
Remes, who has served as the Executive Director of CASIA for 30 years, has been instrumental in the association’s long-term success. Her dedication and strategic vision have significantly contributed to CASIA’s longevity and provided world class service to members for decades.
“On behalf of the CASIA Board of Directors, I extend my heartfelt thanks to Pat for her exceptional leadership and the dedication to CASIA for decades. Pat leaves behind a legacy of excellence, and we are immensely grateful for the positive impact she has made on the association, our members, and the entire Connecticut security and systems integration industry. I’m pleased to share that Pat will stay on with us in an Operations role to help us through the transition. We are not letting her go just yet!” said Dana Klesh, President of CASIA. Remes shared, “It has been an incredible journey over the past three decades as the Executive Director of CASIA.
Serving our dedicated members and the industry has been both an honor and a privilege. Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated victories, and worked tirelessly to advance our shared mission. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together, and I am confident that the organization is well-positioned for continued success. I extend my deepest gratitude to our incredible members, and the industry at large for their unwavering support and collaboration. It has truly been a transformative experience that will hold a special place in my heart.” Remes added, “I am confident that Shannon will bring fresh perspectives and strong leadership to the association. I look forward to seeing CASIA thrive under her guidance.”
Shannon Few comes to CASIA with a wealth of experience in association management and a proven track record of growing and re-energizing associations. The Board of Directors is confident that Few will continue to build upon the foundation laid by Pat and lead CASIA to new heights.
